Statement Of Faith
The exclusive foundation of our beliefs is the Holy Bible, and that God’s word is Truth that was written by people He chose, guided, and filled with the inward working of the Holy Spirit, which inspired the infallible writing of the scriptures and books of the Bible.
A ministry’s identity must be firmly rooted in scripture, yet adaptable enough to adjust in sharing or partaking together in a common life with other believers and non-believers alike, through relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Fellowship is part of God’s creative design and foremost a relationship rather than an activity. We believe God’s presence is greatest when two or more gather before Him, (Matthew 18:20). Thus, our belief is that any activity that results should come out of a relationship that brings Glory to God.
What do we believe? God created Man in His image and likeness being, but, through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” As it is written, “There is none righteous, no, not one.” Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the work of the devil, and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God. Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made effective by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe that we are members of the body of Christ called to reach people of all nations, and that the inspired Word of God, The Holy Bible, is the foundation upon which we establish our faith.
We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all that He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and draws people to Christ. He also indwells all believers. He also illuminates, guides, equips, and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service, giving us spiritual gifts with which to serve the body of Christ.
We have faith that believers are members of the body of Christ, the one true place of worship. Spiritual unity is to be expressed among believers and non-believers alike by acceptance and love of one another across race, ethnic, cultural, socio-economic, generational, gender, tongue, national, and denominational lines.
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God; that a sinner is saved by grace through faith alone, wholly apart from any human merit; and that all who believe in Jesus Christ and His atoning work on the cross will be saved. We believe in receiving Him through faith, in true repentance, confessing Him as both Lord and Savior.
We believe when we become Believers or Kingdom people, we become ambassadors for Christ. We are to communicate His Kingdom message throughout the earth, not through religion, but as personal representatives and as servants to others; this is the ultimate example after which we ought to fashion our lives.
We believe prayer is a vital part of the believer’s life and should demonstrate a total consciousness of our need for intimacy with God, a sense of our complete inadequacy, along with a sense of God’s complete adequacy and willingness to commune with us. Jesus Christ provides our greatest and ultimate example of how to pray to our Father in Heaven. If Jesus prayed, how much more should we pray? Because we are believers in Jesus Christ, we pray out of our thirst for relationship with our Father through him.
We believe the DRINK414 FOUNDATION is called to reach the ends of the earth and make disciples of all nations by drinking, gathering, and sharing God’s Word through our fellowship app, social media, and creative advertising.
